I don't know what to make of this.

It irritates me more than I can say when people misspell Ashley "Ashely." Because that name does not exist. So many people misspell it that way, and nobody actually spells it that way. And it looks stupid because it puts three syllables in a two-syllable name. I rant about this a lot.

Then I found this girl on Facebook one day by accident who appears to actually spell it the wrong way. I had to send her a message about it:

So you actually spell your name "Ashely"? Man, I've been ranting for YEARS at all the people who misspelled my name that way that there ARE no Ashleys who spell it like that anywhere! And yet there you are. You exist to curse me. :-P

You showed up on my mini-feed-whatever-it's called as a friend of Ashley Markland (a different one) if you're wondering how I discovered you.

Her response:

I don't understand. I think she's telling me that, when creating her Facebook profile, she just accidentally misspelled her own name and wishes that she knew how to spell her name but...doesn't.

Let us mock her accordingly.
