"Baltar seems to know a secret about Gaeta from their time on New Caprica. Baltar's knowledge leads Gaeta to try to kill him by stabbing him in the neck during an interrogation. However, he stopped and knocked out by Admiral Adama (Taking a Break from All Your Worries)."
Explanation:
"There were discussions about a subplot that involved Baltar being guilty of an incident before the Cylon occupation in which many, already discriminated, Saggitarons were killed. Ron Moore relates that Baltar threatens to implicate Gaeta, who had nothing to do with the incident, in that (the scene where Baltar whispers something inaudible in Gaeta's ear) and that this is what makes Gaeta snap and stab Baltar."
Not as secrety or insidious as i was hoping it would be. i was hoping Gaeta was a rapist. I'm not cool with him raping, but it warrants more a stabbing than dead Saagitarons because we all know they don't have souls.

This doesn't seem credible. Why would Gaeta be driven to try and murder Baltar for such simple name-calling? Gaeta has always been a bastion of stability in the fleet and Baltar was already recognized as a filthy liar and possible cylon. No one would count his testimony as credible.
I doubt the secret will ever come out, but I choose to disregard this.
