The witty and wonderful Valerie D’Orazio, Marvel Comics scribe and blogger here, reports on two comics, Blue Beetle and the new Titans, recent sales trends for the industry, and questions how books like Beetle get canceled yet books like Titans limp along.
To respond to her claims about Titans, the new arc is better than the last few, but the book has strayed unforgivably far from its heritage, common sense, and anything resembling the earlier team. Thankfully, though, no one has flared collar or mutton chops like they did during the Wolfman/Perez run.
