Just finished reading RUINS, Ellis' 1995 retelling of Busiek's MARVELS. It makes me want to claw out my innards with a beagle puppy while listening to the latest KORN CD and sodomizing someone holy. You know, really enjoyable comic reading.
Also, I read Brian Azzarello's Joker the other night, and HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Buy this comic, buy two from the Dragon's Tale. Its story is every bit a worthy successor to Nolan's Dark Knight.
