Game Damage
Yahtzee's new show.
I should say that creating a show like this in the zero day news cycle which drives news blogs, gaming blogs, and gaming news blogs seems to promise for this show nothing but failure and heartbreak. The idea of creating a game review show when so many others exist is crazy. BUT. what will separate this show for others, i hope, is the same that separated Xplay from the game review industry. Quality criticism and humor. Say what you will about Morgan Webb and her sweet rack, but she and the Sessler remained while others failed in the past and present because they know how to qualitatively critique the mechanics and content of a game and they can do so in a compelling and humorous way. The three hosts of Game Damage, so far, seem to possess what the hosts of Xplay do, all be it with out tits, but that can be forgiven, or at least corrected with science.
In any case, this, the show, is a dicey prospect and the golden ticket to infinite blow jobs and popularity land. net based outfits creating new, geek-friendly content are a dime a dozen; check the podcast channel on Itunes if you disagree. What separates the wheat from the mouth breathing chaff is content and an intuitive understanding of its construction, delivery, and timing. And from the pilot, i think i see this in the creators of Game Damage.

This is damn fine. I love the Duke Nuken Forever skit. The game is due out next year!
I like it, it's not every show where the hosts bicker with each other so well.
