Ghost Town

This is a photo journal of motorcylce enthusiast from Kiev. She rides where the roads aren't used and therefore are in great condition. Since they aren't used she has them to herself. Oh, the reason they aren't used is because they're in the deadzone of Chernobyl. Her father is a retired nuclear physicist which is how she aquired the proper passes to allow her to get past the checkpoints. According to her the roads are safe because the radiation can't soak into the asphalt, and she has a geiger counter for when she gets off the bike to explore the buildings or the surronding areas. It's very cool but very eerie.

If I ever become eccentrically rich, I'll fund a blog trip to Chernobyl.
