as a side note, i know that pre-roll commercials can't be making them lots of money, but since three major networks are funding this site, and since they're likely offering up content for free, how is it that they're making so little money with the revenue scheme they're using now that they have to switch to a for pay system. I have to assume that this is the reason they're changing models, and not that they're all a gang of bottom-line fetishizing douche bags.
It's because they're short-sighted fuckwits that don't realize that by charging for content they will lose vast amounts of money.
If nothing else, the internet has proven Ayn Rand wrong. Profit is not made through quality of a product. It's made through public opinion. And to express it as eloquently as I can: FUCK HULU.
