John Stewart on the O'Reilly Factor

Worth watching, but not nearly as contentious as his Crossfire appearance a few years ago when he called Tucker Carlson a dick.

I had to share this.

Charlie Brooker, in the new episode of his show Newswipe, says "In terms of raw drama, the men of Dystopian future, Sci fi satirical shoutie porn (i think), sledge hammer of Fox News win out every time" when explaining how American news presenters are hands down better showmen than their brothers on the Beeb.
Thinking of Fox News as a skew of reality, rather than simply a skewed way of looking at it, makes the channel so much more watchable. I only wait for the day when, for what ever reason, William Gibson appears as a commentator on the latest cyber crime story and the code comes alive. And maybe Wintermute will be on Pap Bear's show, excoriating him for his recent remarks that algorithmic sentiences are not people, and do not have the right to marry.

Fox News - Ultra-crazy.

This isn't just me geeking out over Putin. Later in the clip Glenn Beck claims that Obama is building FEMA concentration camps to house Republicans, neo-cons and wingnuts. Beck warns that Obama is turning America into a totalitarian state.

Also: Fox News should not be insulting Vladimir Putin, they apparently forgot that Bush said he looked into his eyes and said "he is a good man."

I love Fox News.
