I don't even know

It seems that during the height of the Cold War the Soviets were secretly testing the bounds of "what the fuckery" with the intent of using it to infiltrate and destabilize the West. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, the Japanese were simultaneously doing their own research on the subject, and excelled far more at it than the Soviets, or any nation for that matter, could have hoped to. So much so that Japanese "what the fuckery" surpassed the ability to destabilize nations, and evolved to a status that simply lead to your eyes screaming for a few seconds, an exclamation, usually profanity ridden, of confusion, and then you blacking out for a couple minutes while your brain systematically forgot what you were just witness to. Defeated and dejected, the Soviet Union abandoned their ground breaking research for the less impressive nuclear development and stockpiling of munitions. At least that's the only rational explanation I can come up with for why this is out there.
